Moses Itauma (11-0-0) is a Slovakian-British professional boxer who holds World Boxing Organization (WBO) Intercontinental heavyweight title. He is a rising heavyweight prospect whose last performance against Demsey McKean was impressive.

The 21-year old is a younger brother to Karol Itauma who is also a professional boxer under light heavyweight division. “I don’t need no knock over jobs. I don’t need fights that go one or two rounds. I need good quality title fights with good contenders and to stamp my name on this sport because that’s what it’s about,” said Itauma on Instagram. Fans of boxing sport shared their thoughts about Moses’ statement in the comment section. “Just give this man the matches he wants. If he loses, at-least it would make him tougher and stronger,” said an Instagram User. “Joyce is a good fight for him. Needs a name under his belt now to move up,” added another Instagram user. “Give him Jared Anderson. Good opposition and still a good fight,” suggested another Instagram user. “His last 10 fights had 20 wins 5 losses he is 20-0. 24-7 is the record of all 20 fights he had, seems he needs to fight a guy with more than 7 wins first,” concluded an Instagram user.

Moses made his debut on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on January 28 2023, the event was held at the Wembley Arena in England, United Kingdom where he dispatched his opponent Marcel Bode by knockout on the first round at the 23rd second. He has won all of his 11 fights 9 by knockout and 2 by decision. He is considered to be a special talent and is already a box office draw. He won the vacant WBO Intercontinental heavyweight title with a second round stoppage victory against Mezencev a German professional boxer in Saudi Arabia on May 18 2024. He retained the title for the second time against a Polish boxer Mariusz Wach two months later on July 27 2024 in London.

Moses next bout for the year 2025 is expected to be announced, there are several potentials that are already eyed on. The undefeated boxer has called out top heavyweight for his next fight who include Daniel Dubois, Lawrence Okolie, Kubrat Pulev and Tyson Fury respectively. Moses shared his thoughts about Martin Bakole’s late notice fight against Joseph Parker suggesting that the result could have been different with a full cramp. “Had Bakole had a full training camp, that fight maybe might have gone differently, but I don’t want to take credit away from Parker he boxed very well,” said Moses on Instagram. “If Bakole wins impressively against his next opponent then he would be a worthwhile opponent for Moses. Moses definitely needs to be targeting people ranked above him,” commented an Instagram user. The wait is on to see who’s next for Moses Itauma in the ring.
