Zhilei Zhang Wants To ‘See That Contract’

Talking to Box Nation, Zhang expressed interest in facing Itauma, stating that he is a ‘fantastic’ fighter, which has in turn piqued his interest.

“Moses Itauma is a great fighter. I watched a couple of his fights, and he knocked out Dillian Whyte in one round. He was fantastic. But for the time being, right now, we haven’t received anything from Itauma in terms of fighting him,” he said.

Itauma was last seen dishing out a first-round TKO against Dillian Whyte, thereby retaining his WBA International and WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight titles and winning the vacant Commonwealth heavyweight title.

While he has been trying to get a fight against Oleksandr Usyk , it certainly seems like the Ukrainian isn’t particularly interested in facing him. In fact, he even turned Itauma’s words against him, advising him to “not hit grandpas”.

Zhang, on the other hand, isn’t going to be waiting around for Itauma either. He mentioned that he was locked in and ready to take on any fast-rising phenom who is ready to face him.

“Anyone who wants to fight me. I want to see that contract. I will sign it,” he said.

“I Want To Bang You”

This callout wasn’t the first one that Zhang made. In a recent Instagram story, he was seen calling out Derek Chisora in a rather dramatic fashion.

The story began with Zhang mentioning that he was thinking of someone before it cut to footage of Zhang talking to Chisora ringside. With the song ‘Careless Whisper’ playing in the back, Zhang looked straight at the camera with a direct callout. “I want to fight you. I want to bang you. Maybe you want to bang me, too,” he said.
