There are some questions about the future of D’Andre Swift, and one of his family members says the Georgia running back plans to return to school.
On Tuesday, The Athletic’s Seth Emerson tweeted that Swift was joining Bulldogs teammates Andrew Thomas and Isaiah Wilson by leaving for the draft.
Swift addressed the matter swiftly with a tweet saying he hadn’t made his decision yet.
I have not made my decision yet… I will decide after the bowl game!!!

Emerson later deleted the tweet and apologized, saying he was scrolling through Twitter too fast and tweeted without looking closer.
Honestly I feel sick about this. Quick explanation: I misread my phone when Swift retweeted Andrew Thomas' message about declaring. I didn't look close enough to see it was just a retweet. Another lesson in being careful before tweeting. Poor move on my part.

Swift is projected to be a highly ranked running back prospect. But Pro Football Focus’ Joey Frigo spoke to Swift’s dad, who says the running back plans to return to school for his senior season.
Spoke to D’Andre Swift’s Dad (@DAndreSwift ) today in Philadelphia. He told me his son’s plan is to play in the Sugar Bowl AND come back for his senior season next year. Says he wants to get UGA a National Championship #georgia https://t.co/Xi8p4cuoqT

Swift has rushed for 1,216 yards this season. He has averaged 6.6 yards per carry during his Georgia career. If he is projected to be a first-round draft pick, that might change his mind.
