Michigan football likely added its final piece to the Wolverines' class of 2026 on Sunday, as sibling legacy linebacker Ndi Etta (younger brother of Wolverine defensive lineman Enow Etta) committed to the Maize and Blue.
The second week of the transfer portal being open has been slower for the Clemson Tigers thus far, but that isn’t stopping them from looking for more pieces. According to TigerIllustrated’s Paul Strelow with On3, Michigan defensive tackle Enow Etta has been in contact with the Tigers.
As the transfer portal opened on Friday, Michigan saw a lot of attrition in Day 1 of the transfer portal. Some surprising names came up like LB Cole Sullivan and OT Andrew Sprague, and following those two was DL Enow Etta, who announced late Friday night that he would also enter the portal.
Michigan’s narrow 30-27 win over Nebraska felt like deja vu wrapped in grit and relief. The Wolverines, now 3-1, had already blown out Central Michigan 63-6 a week earlier, but this road test in Lincoln carried more weight.
When Enow Etta was a recruit, one of the biggest reasons why he chose the Michigan football team was because he could play EDGE. A lot of other schools wanted him to be a tackle.
