A Different Man Trailer Features Transformation From Sebastian Stan

The official trailer for Aaron Schimberg's A Different Man starring Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, and Adam Pearson, has now been released by A24.

Following its festival run, where it featured at Sundance and this year's Berlinale, A Different Man is the third feature from Schimberg and stars the face behind Marvel's Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier.

Stan picked up a Silver Berlin Bear for Best Leading Performance in February, and now we have our first taste of what's to come.

Aspiring actor Edward undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.

From 49 reviews, Rotten Tomatoes has the film sitting at an 86% rating, where critics have said the film is "a bold, unsettling psychological drama" featuring "a complicated performance" from Sebastian Stan that shows him "at his most chaotically unhinged".

A Different Man hits theaters on September 20.
