Adam Sandler Releases Behind-the-Scenes Footage From 'Happy Gilmore 2'

We've now been given multiple looks behind the scenes, with Netflix dropping a blooper reel recently.

Happy Gilmore 2 was highly-anticipated after a 29-year wait for a sequel to the cult classic, Happy Gilmore, which was released in 1996.

Along with a ton of celebrity cameos, Happy Gilmore 2 also saw the returns of several notable characters, including Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald) and Virginia Venit (Julie Bowen).

Due to the success of Happy Gilmore 2, many have wondered if a third might be in store. However, writer Tim Herlihy said that has not been discussed, although he didn't rule it out, either.

"Not between me and Adam," he said to The Hollywood Reporter. "I can say we haven’t had one discussion about it. I haven’t even thought about it in the privacy of my own brain. I’m sure some people in the world are talking about it. Never say never, I guess. We said we’d never do Happy Gilmore 2, and it’s currently streaming on Netflix, so you never know.

According to IMDB, the film has received 6.2 out of 10 stars after over 65,000 ratings. Meanwhile, Happy Gilmore 2 is sporting a 62% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics, and a 68% score from audiences.
