Alex Garland to Direct and Write Live-Action ELDEN RING Movie for A24

Bandai Namco Entertainment, Inc. and A24 are teaming up with writer and director Alex Garland for a live-action Elden Ring film. Yes, those rumors are indeed true. Garland will both write and direct this film, which is in its early stages and does not have a release date yet. The beloved RPG came out in 2022 and takes place in a fantasy world where players overcome challenges and traverse through expansive lands. 

This news comes right before the release of an Elden Ring spinoff, Elden Ring Nightreign, which will release on May 30. This game boasts a redesign that provides players with a completely new gameplay experience.

Players will choose from a cast of unique characters to face off against a new threat. Sounds like a lot of fun. And maybe some of its lore will also appear in this movie.
