'Barbie,' and every other billion-dollar box-office blockbuster
Barbie went and did and proved that pink is the new box office blockbuster by crossing the $1 billion mark, but Greta Gerwig’s doll dream isn’t the only movie to have earned an impressive amount of money from moviegoers. According to Box Office Mojo, a cascade of others have as well, from superhero favorites to animated darlings. These movies have made over $1 billion (and counting).
'Jurassic World Dominion'
Jurassic Park blew the world away, so it's no wonder that when the original trio came back for Jurassic World Dominion, fans were going to stampede to theaters to see if Jeff Goldblum would make the 2022 release as much of a must-watch as he did back in 1993.
'The Dark Knight'
Heath Ledger's performance as Joker made this one of the must-see movie events of 2008.
