Apple TV+ shares first look at season 4 of 'The Morning Show' starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon

Apple TV+ is finally giving fans a new first look at the upcoming 10-episode fourth season of The Morning Show, starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

Season four of "The Morning Show" opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives, and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?

Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm all reprise their roles. New cast members include Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, and Boyd Holbrook.

Charlotte Stoudt serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside director Mimi Leder, who received two Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series nominations for the season 1 and season 3 finales.

The drama's third season received a total of 16 Emmy Award nominations, with Crudup winning for his work in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category in addition to a Critics Choice Award. He also won both awards for the first season, and Aniston earned a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.

"Oh my gosh, it was hard. It was so hard," the actress told PEOPLE while reflecting on the filming experience. "But it's a great season. It's jam-packed, that’s for sure."

Aniston also commented in an interview with Variety how she and Witherspoon have "been in each other’s lives for 20-something years," adding, "It’s just in our DNA that we are collaborators. We’re partners. We’re friends. We’re girlfriends, we share all sorts of heartbreaks in life and love and everything."

Witherspoon then continued to express, "There’s a comfort to that. It’s just mutual respect and years of experience. And I think we’re both incredulous that we’re both still kicking around! That we’re still working at this level is such a privilege. It’s an honor to get to contribute to something that’s really speaking about the world we live in nowadays."

Season 4 will premiere on Wednesday, September 17, and be followed by the release of one episode weekly until November 19.
