Belle and Sebastian are double-dipping on an album-based nostalgia tour

Back when Scottish indie-pop bands could actually break through, Belle and Sebastian managed to do just that. Nearly thirty years ago, in 1996, they arrived with Tigermilk — still a contender for one of the strangest album covers ever pressed — and followed it later that same year with If You’re Feeling Sinister. These days, it’s almost expected that bands will cash in on nostalgia with “Come watch us play the whole album you loved in college!” tours. In 2026, Belle and Sebastian are doubling down, hitting the road to play both Tigermilk and If You’re Feeling Sinister in full.

Each stop on the tour will be a two-night run: Tigermilk the first night, If You’re Feeling Sinister the second. No funny business, no swapping nights to trip you up. And yes, both shows will also include a handful of other fan favorites, so whether you just want a dose of nostalgia or feel like going all in for both nights, you’re covered. Here's the tour dates and cities:

Europe & UK (February – April)

  • Feb 24–25 – Bern, Switzerland (Bierhübeli)

  • Feb 27–28 – Paris, France (Le Grand Rex)

  • Mar 2–3 – Amsterdam, Netherlands (Paradiso)

  • Mar 17–18 – Cologne, Germany (Stadthalle)

  • Apr 4–5 – Dublin, Ireland (Olympia Theatre)

  • Apr 8–9 – London, UK (Royal Albert Hall)

  • Jun 10–11 – San Francisco, CA, USA (The Masonic)

Finale — Homecoming (June)

  • Jun 26–27 – Glasgow, Scotland (Kelvingrove Bandstand)

The tour kicks off in Europe next February before crossing into the U.S. in May, with more dates still to be announced. So if your city isn’t on the list yet, hang tight.

Plenty of ‘90s/early-2000s indie bands have pulled the “tour a classic album” move, but Belle and Sebastian have officially upped the ante by doing two in one go.
