In a college sports era dominated by highlight reels and NIL deals, LSU's Flau'jae Johnson continues to make headlines.
Signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation and a former Golden Buzzer winner on America’s Got Talent, Johnson has long balanced two worlds: college hoops and hip-hop.
Yet, in April 2025, fresh off yet another deep LSU postseason run, she made perhaps her most daring crossover move yet.
Johnson joined BossMan Dlow’s sold-out “Dlow Curry Tour,” performing live on stage in cities like Boston and Toronto, with stops in Colorado and Jacksonville next on her list.
Her Instagram montage from the tour went viral, with lights flashing, fans roaring, and Johnson front and center.
With an NIL valuation of $1.5 million, major partnerships with Powerade, Puma, Taco Bell, and Roc Nation on her side, Johnson is arguably one of the most influential college athletes in the country.
In fact, she ranks second in NIL earnings among women, behind only LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne.
Having collaborated with huge artists like Skooly, NLE Choppa, 2Rare, and Lil Wayne, Johnson's music career only continues to rise.
Don't get it twisted, though, she remains a force to be reckoned with on the court.
After another electric season with the LSU Tigers, where she helped power the squad to an Elite Eight appearance and earned First-Team All-SEC and Third-Team All-America honors, Johnson isn't slowing down.
If anything, she's hitting another level.
Averaging a career-high 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game, the 5-foot-10 guard has more than solidified herself as one of the best two-way players in the country.
