Francia Raisa explains how she ended up topless in a hot tub with Tyra Banks

Francia Raisa has apparently packed a lot of unbelievable experiences into her life, including donating a kidney to Selena Gomez, but this story about Tyra Banks might top the list.

The 33-year-old actress co-starred with Banks in the 2018 television movie Life-Size 2, and the 48-year-old supermodel gave Raisa a day to remember, as she explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week:

"She wanted to bond with me, so we could get to know each other better. We were playing BFFs. And so, she was like, 'Why don't we go to the spa?' And I was like, 'Great!' She goes, 'You have a car, right? Why don't you just pick me up?' Can you imagine driving a supermodel in your car? In Atlanta, where I didn't know these streets at all?

"… What happened was, I picked her up. I'm driving 10 and 2, keeping my eye on the road. That's the only time I've ever driven 10 and 2. Sorry, DMV. We get to the spa, and she wanted to show up about an hour early so we could go in the hot tub. We get to the lockers, and she goes, 'S—t! I forgot my bathing suit!' And at that point, I have my bathing suit in my hand, and I was like, 'Oh my God. I can't just shove it in and pretend I forgot it too because she's looking at me.' So, I had a decision to make: Do I let this supermodel go in the hot tub butt naked, or do I join her? Now, I wanted to offer to go in naked, but that was weird. ... So, I went halfsies. I went topless. It was a good compromise."

Raisa added that this spa trip was her first time meeting Banks, and luckily, they were the only ones in the hot tub and nobody else saw. They "got separate massages, but then we took a nap after, together," although in separate chairs. ("It was her idea!")

Banks first starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in the original Life-Size movie in 2000.

Also in 2018, Raisa began starring in Freeform series Grown-ish, which resumes its fourth season next week, alongside Yara Shahidi, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Trevor Jackson, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat and Luka Sabbat.

Raisa's latest role is on Hulu's How I Met Your Mother spin-off How I Met Your Father. She plays Valentina, best friend to Hilary Duff's central character Sophie. The series premiered its first two episodes Tuesday (Jan. 18).
