Mark Hoppus: ‘Scans indicate that the chemo is working’ amid cancer battle

Mark Hoppus is the frontman for staying positive despite having cancer.

The blink-182 bassist and vocalist updated fans Monday (July 19) that recent “scans indicate that the chemo is working.”

Hoppus, 49, first publicly disclosed that he had been diagnosed with cancer June 23.

It wasn’t until a Twitch Q&A session last Tuesday (July 13) that Hoppus specified that he is battling B-cell lymphoma stage 4-A (h/t Insider).
