The world is feeling quite alive, for Maroon 5! The band aims to please a multitude of ears with their eclectic eighth album, Love Is Like.
Love is described as a complex, emotional state that can involve deep affection, attachment, and concern for something or someone. This emotional experience can be characterized by profound ecstasy or deep attachment. Furthermore, its sudden interruption or unreciprocated nature can cause intense suffering. Like the rest of us, Maroon 5 knows this feeling all too well. Therefore, this album explores the ups and downs of the word that can either pleasantly make, or completely break us.
Released on August 15, 2025, the album features a diverse range of influences. These include, the jazz-chord dreamy hit “Priceless” featuring LISA of BLACKPINK. It also includes the sax-driven, slap-bass funk-pop single “All Night”. Other exciting tracks include “California,” “I Like It” featuring Sexyy Red, and “Love Is Like” featuring Lil Wayne. Frontman Adam Levine described the album as a return to the band’s roots. This emphasizes organic music production, and a focus on creating music without worrying about fitting into a specific genre.
Described as a dynamic evolution of their previous work, the album’s vibe and sound is similar to their 2021 album JORDI. The band also announced a 23-date U.S. arena tour in June 2025, along with thier album. The tour kicks off on October 6, 2025 in Phoenix, and concludes on November 25 in Detroit.
To date, Maroon 5 has sold over 135 million records worldwide, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands. They have also been active in various charitable causes, including ADHD awareness and LGBT rights advocacy. Love Is Like is available in various formats, including CD, standard vinyl, and limited edition blue and yellow marble vinyl.
