New Titan Comics: Bloodborne, Quentin Tarantino and Rebel Moon

When you think of comic books the names “Marvel” and “DC” might be the first things that pop into your head. But Titan Comics has been slowly rising in popularity with some pretty cool adaptations of well-known franchises. Titan continues to publish a mix of obscure and prominent comics this February, serving fans across genres and niches, be it Bloodborne or Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon.

Bloodborne: The Bleak Dominion #4 continues the story of a pair of new hunters - Gretchen and Abraham as they scour the streets of Yharnam to find their missing protégé. Sure, it may not be an “official” tie-in, but Bloodborne players can’t exactly be choosers as PlayStation continues to ignore the game’s fervent fanbase. The comic has gorgeous illustrations by Piotr Kowalski that accurately represent the world created by From Software.

If your thirst for Dark Souls-adjacent media isn’t quenched by it, pick up The Willow King #1 which follows Herad the Unlived. The four-issue series written by George Mann will see Ustrad’s servant resurrected as an unkindled, reuniting three warriors as he ventures into the reluctant Willow King’s domain.

Rebel Moon fans can pick up House of the Bloodaxe #2 as they continue to wait for the second movie to hit Netflix. The comic series is a prequel to Snyder’s film, following the ruler of the Bloodaxe family on planet Shasu.

Speaking of film, cinephiles will be eager to pick up Quentin by Tarantino, a first-person account of the filmmaker’s journey to success. The graphic novel follows the director’s humble beginnings as a video shop clerk to an international celebrity. If that’s too grounded for you, return to the world of Blade Runner with a new comic and a graphic novel collection in the officially sanctioned Blade Runner 2039.

Conan the Barbarian returns in Bound in Blackstone Vol. 1 as the young hero imagines a life of adventure outside his homeland. The graphic novel collects all four issues of the comic in addition to the Free Comic Book Day 2023 special edition. The story follows Conan as he steps into the Hyborian Age and uncovers visions of his future adventures.
