Before I Said I Love You First drops, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco crashed an A24 x IMAX anniversary screening of Gomez's 2012 movie Spring Breakers last night to debut "Bluest Flame." They even gave fans the new song on USB drives.
"Did you guys enjoy one of my favorite movies ever?"
Before leaving, the actress/singer took a selfie with the audience to send to co-stars Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine, and writer/director Harmony Korine.
"This movie means the world to me and just that you guys are here, it's so special. I'm so grateful for you guys and I hope you enjoy everything that we put together."
"It was a really fun shoot," she expressed to W Magazine. "Spring Breakers was a ride. It was something that I felt I needed a jolt of and that little taste of working on that film as audacious as it was, I felt a rush I had never felt before."
As for the couple's new album, Blanco told Rolling Stone, "I hadn’t seen her excited about music for a long time. And I remember she was like, 'I have to pull over the car because I’m so happy.' And then I knew at that moment. I was like, 'Well, if it’s making both of us happy, then hopefully it makes a few other people happy.'"
"We had been together for a while, and obviously, I would confide in him. I couldn’t figure out my sound," Gomez explained. "It helps that he knows a little bit about music, and it kind of happened organically to where I felt like this process was unlike any other process I’d ever been through."
Gomez shared their engagement news on December 11, 2024, via Instagram, writing, "forever begins now.."
I Said I Love You First will be released on March 21.
