Sydney Sweeney Wore A $790 Tank Top To An NBA Game

Actress Sydney Sweeney has a habit of turning heads when she goes out in public and her recent appearance at Madison Square Garden was no exception.

The movie and TV star had courtside seats to last night's NBA game between the New York Knicks and the rival Brooklyn Nets alongside 11-year-old actress Indiana Elle. Sweeney and Elle are set to co-star in the upcoming film The Housemaid.

As always, Sweeney was dressed from head to toe in expensive clothes from CELINE, which Page Six estimated was worth nearly $4,000.

But by far the most eye-catching piece of clothing was her tank top. The low cut cotton tank top cost about half a month's rent as CELINE retails the "embroidered triomphe tank top in cotton jersey" for a whopping $790 on their website.

The top is advertised as 100% cotton with sequin embroidery on the front, shoulder straps and neckline with a cropped length. On their website they've already sold out in some sizes.

But as wild as that price tag may sound for a single shirt, her jeans weren't exactly coming off the Old Navy clearance rack. The "marco jeans in dark union wash denim" that she wore cost over $1,200 at CELINE, and are similarly running out of sizes.

As for the shoes, her most expensive item, those were the "CELINE VERNEUIL ANKLE BOOT WITH TRIOMPHE in CALFSKIN" made of 100% calfskin and retailing for $1,450.

Lastly, her belt - of all things - was the "BC-16 18mm belt in Taurillon Leather" that goes for $490.

That comes out to a subtotal of $3,930 before taxes. Let's hope she didn't buy them in New York City, because that sales tax would probably drive the price to well over $4,200.

Not that she can't afford it, of course. Sweeney's incredible success in Hollywood has helped her build a net worth of over $40 million, according to Yahoo Finance. Not bad for an actress of only 27.

Sweeney didn't post any photos on her Instagram, but Elle did:

"When I was little I used to ask every famous young woman I was lucky enough to meet if they could babysit me and then last night, my awesome and incredible costar @sydney_sweeney asked if SHE could babysit ME! See, sometimes #dreamsdocometrue !" Elle wrote on her Instagram account.
