Immediately after the AFC title game, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce received a stern reminder from his mother Donna of what happened the last time he went to New Orleans.
The future Hall of Fame tight end failed a drug test before the 2010 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans when he was member of the Cincinnati Bearcats. Kelce revealed he was suspended from the team before later rejoining as a tight end.
With that in mind, Kelce shared a moment with his mother and girlfriend Taylor Swift after Kansas City's 32-29 victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC title game where he admitted he "owes" New Orleans for what happened last time.
“I owe New Orleans a little something,” Kelce said during the postgame celebration before receiving a warning from Swift.
“Yeah, (you're) not going to Bourbon Street,” she fired at the star tight end.
Well, it appears Kelce listened to the warning from his girlfriend. When asked for a recommendation on Bourbon Street during a media session on Wednesday morning, the Chiefs tight end admitted he hasn't hit Bourbon Street thus far.
"I haven't been on Bourbon Street. I'll ask my brother and get back to you," Kelce said referring to his older brother Jason, who landed in New Orleans on Tuesday.

Avoiding Bourbon Street is probably a good idea for players during the week leading up to the Super Bowl to ensure they're ready to go for the big game.
Super Bowl LIX kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday night. The game will be broadcast on Fox.
