At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Chelsea Green made history by defeating Michin to become the inaugural Women’s United States Champion. Since her win, Green has adopted a new gimmick in accordance with her US Title. On last night’s edition of SmackDown, Green gathered massive support in the form of actress Vanessa Hudgens and her husband, Cole Tucker.
The Hot Mess shared a clip of Hudgens and Tucker, who were in attendance for the show. During Green’s entrance, the couple could be seen behind the commentary table. More importantly, in the video, both Hudgens and Tucker have kept their hands on their hearts, pledging their allegiance to the Women’s United States Champion.
This isn’t the first time that Hudgens has attended a WWE show. At last year’s WrestleMania, the High School Musical actor showed up to support The Rock during the Night 1 main event. Months ago, Hudgens once again appeared on a Raw episode. The $16 million-worth celebrity put her index finger up as a way to acknowledge Roman Reigns.

Days after this appearance, Triple H released a behind-the-scenes montage of himself showing Vanessa Hudgens the Gorilla position. Furthermore, the WWE CCO seemingly confirmed that Hugens would be appearing at the upcoming Raw premiere on Netflix. Needless to say, fans can expect to see more of the 36-year-old on WWE programming in the future.
During Chelsea Green‘s US Championship celebration on last week’s SmackDown, Michin interrupted and wreaked havoc. The former Mia Yim demanded a rematch for the Women’s US Championship. However, Green had no interest in facing her again.
On last night’s show, Michin squared off against Green’s tag team partner, Piper Niven. Following a back-and-forth encounter, the 35-year-old star defeated Niven. As such, it does seem that Michin will be receiving a title opportunity in the near future.
Earlier in the week, WrestleVotes reported that WWE was planning a rematch between Green and Michin for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event edition. Moreover, a stipulation could be added to the bout. Fans can expect this to be the final match of this rivalry, which has been going on since the summer of 2024.
