This Sunday, the Formula 1 season continues with the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, home of the Tifosi and one of the sport’s most legendary circuits. Today’s race is about high speed in the "Temple of Speed" as the grid lines up for 53 laps.

Race time

The start time for the 2025 Italian Grand Prix is at 3 pm Local Time at Monza (CEST). That is 2pm in the UK, 9 am ET and 6 am PT in the US, on the Pacific Coast. The race should last around 90 minutes but safety cars and interruptions could add to that.

The grid and race

Max Verstappen starts from pole position after dominating qualifying again, setting the fastest lap in Formula 1 history. He's joined on the front row by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Charles Leclerc leads the charge for Ferrari in 4th, with Lewis Hamilton in 5th. With the slipstream at Monza playing a big role and the long straights offering overtaking opportunities, today’s race is going to be a tactical battle as much as a flat-out sprint.
