Caitlin Clark quickly emerged as one of the biggest stars in the WNBA after joining the Indiana Fever.

Clark is in her second season in the league, playing under head coach Stephanie White. She's also playing alongside some of the most well-known names in the WNBA, Aliyah Boston and Sophie Cunningham.

While Clark has been working through her second season in the WNBA, big news surfaced in the sports world.

Former New York Knicks star Jeremy Lin, who played nine years in the NBA, officially retired from the league.

Lin made the announcement on social media, sharing a farewell video on his personal account.

After announcement was made, several tweets from Caitlin Clark resurfaced on Lin.

"Jeremy Lin can do that in his sleep," Clark said.

"Jeremy Lin still the best player in the NBA."

"Jeremy Lin is still the best in the league, don't hate on my nets."

Jeremy Lin has his very own Netflix documentary and was once the most talked about basketball player in the world. During his time with the New York Knicks, the 2011-12 season, the term "Linsanity" was coined, given an incredible run by the former NBA guard.

He wound up finishing that season posting 14.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game.

Lin also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors.

The former NBA star won a championship with the Raptors during the 2018-19 season.

Caitlin Clark is also a star in her own world. She's one of the biggest names in the WNBA, playing in her second season with the Indiana Fever.

While Clark has been injured for a majority of the season, she posted great numbers. Clark is averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game.
