Shannon Sharpe has weighed in on a lawsuit filed by a former Fox Sports hairstylist who alleges sexual misconduct and harassment by high-profile figures at the network. The claims involve Sharpe's former co-host Skip Bayless, Joy Taylor, and executive Charlie Dixon.
Noushin Faraji, a former Fox Sports employee with over a decade of service, accused Bayless of inappropriate behavior. The allegations include unwelcome physical contact, sexual advances, and an alleged offer of $1.5 million in exchange for sex.
Per Front Office Sports, Dixon, Bayless and Taylor were named among the defendants in the lawsuit. The only notable mention of Sharpe is the alleged accusations by Bayless claiming that Faraji had slept with him.
Sharpe discussed the situation during Sunday’s edition of his "Nightcap" show.
"That has nothing to do with me. There's nothing to address. In those 42 pages, it doesn't mention that Shannon Sharpe did anything," Sharpe said. "But you all want to get clicks, so you mention me."
Sharpe starred alongside Bayless on "Undisputed" for seven years. Some bad blood led to Sharpe's departure in 2023. The Hall of Fame tight end cited a particular disrespectful instance as the catalyst for his decision.
"You can say I'm loud, you can say I'm obnoxious, you can say I'm arrogant. But to try to poo-poo my career, a seventh-rounder that started out on special teams and played so well that I got into the Hall of Fame. To try to minimize that was disheartening for me," Sharpe said on "The Stephen A. Smith Show." "I considered Skip a friend. For you to take that kind of personal shot at me, it really hurt me."
Sharpe is now at ESPN and is a regular contributor on "First Take" with Smith. He also hosts his popular "Nightcap" YouTube show alongside Chad Johnson. Bayless left Fox in August of 2024.
