U.S. Track Star Sha'Carri Richardson Goes Public With Famous Boyfriend

Olympic gold medalist Sha'Carri Richardson made headlines during Super Bowl 59 for multiple reasons. Not only was she featured in a Nike commercial, she "hard launched" her relationship.

On Sunday night, Nike unveiled its latest ad with the slogan: "Whatever you do, you can't win. So win." The commercial features a handful of female athletes, including WNBA star Caitlin Clark and Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles. It's all about promoting defiance and resiliency.

Richardson's appearance in Nike's Super Bowl commercial was certainly newsworthy, but her fans were far more concerned about her relationship status.

It turns out Richardson is dating a fellow Olympian. She shares pictures of her holding hands with American sprinter Christian Coleman.

Coleman, 28, first represented the United States in the 2016 Olympics. His relay team was ultimately disqualified from the 4 x 100m race. In 2019, he reached the top of the mountain by placing first in the final of the men's 100m at the World Championships.

Unfortunately for Coleman, he was banned from competition in 2020 for a missed drug test. As a result, he missed the Tokyo Olympics.

"While I appreciate that the arbitrators correctly found that I am a clean athlete, I am obviously disappointed that I will miss the Olympic Games this summer," Coleman said at the time. "I look forward to representing the United States at both World Championships in 2022 [indoors and outdoors], especially the first ever World Championships held in the United States next summer where I plan to defend my world title against a new Olympic champion in the 100 meters."

Coleman redeemed himself in 2023, winning gold at the World Championships in Budapest.

As for Richardson, she ascended to superstar status at the Paris Olympics by winning gold in the 4 x 100m relay and silver in the 100m.

We'll see if this star-studded couple has what it takes to go the distance.
