Golf legend Tiger Woods has shared a video of him hitting balls as he continues his recovery from the injuries he sustained in a car crash earlier this year.

Woods was lucky to escape with his life after slamming his SUV into a tree. He suffered serious damage to his legs, which has kept him away from the golf course since the day of the accident.

Were it any other sportsman we were discussing here, there’d be little possibility of a return to competitive action at some point in the future, but Woods is no ordinary golfer.

The American has come back from the gravest situations to prove that you never truly are down and out in life. It’s very much early days, but the signs are there he could do it again.

Tiger took to Twitter to share a video of him hitting balls downrange, and while his right leg is still in a sleeve for protection, he appears to have a decent amount of mobility.

Regardless of whether we ever see him return to competition in the future, it’s excellent to see Tiger back out on the course and able to continue playing the game that he loves.

Considering the nature of the accident he was involved in, the fact that he’s back playing golf in the same calendar year is nothing short of a miracle.

Naturally, fans are going to get excited seeing him with a golf club in his hands again, but it’s important to manage expectations. He still has a long way to go…
