Andrew McCutchen sends funny tweet about his rental home

Andrew McCutchen sent a funny tweet on Tuesday about his rental home in Philadelphia.

Cutch tweeted a photo of himself standing in an empty house, similar to the photo of Will Smith in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” that often gets used in memes.

Players were asked to report to training camps by July 1 to prepare for a shortened 2020 MLB season. That’s why McCutchen is back in Philly, in a mostly empty house.

McCutchen is entering the second year of a four-year contract with the Phillies. He only played in 59 games last season before suffering a torn ACL. The extra time before the start of the season allowed him to recover from his surgery, which should make him ready to begin the year at full strength.
