DENVER – Geraldo Perdomo is the latest member of the Arizona Diamondbacks to address the situation surrounding Ketel Marte, as Perdomo expressed loyalty with supportive remarks.
The rumors have been flying after Ketel Marte has been rubbing teammates and members of the Diamondbacks front office the wrong way, after Marte has taken multiple days off recently for personal reasons.

So far, in the 2025 season, Marte has a .297 batting average along with 23 home runs and 56 RBIs, and has been one of the bright spots for Arizona. With his fearless leadership and talented play, he has been the engine that keeps this Diamondbacks train rolling. Whatever the future holds for Marte in Arizona, his teammates know where he stands, what he plays for, and the fire he brings to the franchise.
