Spring training is only two days away, and teams have already reported to camp. Pitchers and catchers are on a roll, while last-minute trade deals are still happening. The New York Yankees are geared up as well after making a few changes to the team.

Many have called out the team for running it back with the same roster. However, General Manager Brian Cashman and manager Aaron Boone beg to differ. Here’s a look at the team’s lineup and projected batting order.

Veteran slugger Paul Goldschmidt is expected to switch positions with Ben Rice at first base. Meanwhile, Jose Caballero will play as shortstop as Anthony Volpe is set to return.

The Bronx Bombers have five pitchers on their starting rotation as they step into the 2026 season. The good news is that three of their pitchers are expected to come back. Gerrit Cole will return , along with Carlos Rodon and Clarke Schmidt. Rodon will come in by April, and Cole will return in May or June.
