Chicago White Sox Starting Pitcher Adrian Houser has been one of the lone bright spots for a White Sox team going through another lost season. He had a masterful outing this afternoon at home against the San Francisco Giants. He surrendered four hits over seven scoreless innings and punched out five.
Houser has been stellar this season. He is 3-2 with a 1.90 ERA. He would be second in the league in ERA if he had enough starts to qualify. The veteran signed with the Chicago White Sox in May. This was only his seventh start of the season. His presence has been a stabilizing one in Chicago’s starting rotation. Will he continue pitching well this season?

Houser debuted with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2015. After undergoing Tommy John Surgery in 2016, he did not return to the big leagues until 2018. He remained with the Brewers through the 2023 season. He spent 2024 with the New York Mets before signing with the Chicago White Sox earlier this year.
Houser’s scheduled start is on the road against the lowly Colorado Rockies on Independence Day. That matchup will be between the worst two teams in baseball. Regardless, the veteran starting pitcher will look to continue his career resurgence.
