Jamahal Hill has responded to Ariel Helwani's attempt to squash their issues.

Hill, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, has taken aim at Helwani for hurling what he believes to be passive aggressive shots towards him. Hill even threatened to see Helwani face-to-face to address the perceived shots towards him.

In response, Helwani offered Jamahal Hill a chance to come to "The MMA Hour" in studio or over a Zoom call to air out his grievances. Hill has made a counter offer.

Hill played Helwani's response during an episode of his own "Champ Chat Podcast." During the episode, Hill revealed that he doesn't plan on appearing on "The MMA Hour," but he offered a counter invitation.

"To be honest with you, I have no interest in coming on your show," Hill said. "I've been on your show, I've been on your show multiple times before and leading up into it. Gave you a really great sports soundbite from your show, and I see the respect I got for that. So, now, if you truly want to talk and have a conversation, you can come on my show. You can come right now, 'Champ Chat Podcast,' first-ever guest. You can come on and we can talk."

Hill also responded to Helwani's claim that he tried to call the UFC fighter, but was sent to voice mail. The former light heavyweight king showed a text message where he told Helwani that he was with his kids and couldn't answer the phone. Hill claims he tried calling Helwani later on, but there wasn't an answer.
