Bulls Re-Sign Justin Lewis to Two-Way Contract

Lewis, 20, is 6-foot-7 and initially signed a two-way deal with Chicago over the summer, then suffered an ACL injury that required surgery in August.

Lewis was waived when the Bulls signed forward Kostas Antetokounmpo, but Lewis was expected to remain around the team as e went through his rehab.

Given that he underwent surgery less than a year ago, it’s not clear whether he will suit up for the Bulls or G League’s Windy City Bulls this season. Either way, he’s back under contract.

Lewis averaged 16.8 points and 7.9 rebounds as a sophomore at Marquette last season prior to declaring for the NBA Draft. 

The move comes after the Bulls promoted point guard Carlik Jones to the standard roster, opening a two-way spot.
