Cavs sign four players ahead of training camp

The Cavaliers added four players to their roster Wednesday, signing Kadary Richmond, Zack Austin, Rashaun Agee and Curtis Jones ahead of training camp. The NBA’s team roster⁠ lists all four as signed Sept. 23. 

These are camp moves, with the Cleveland Charge also part of the picture.

Richmond, a 6-foot-6 guard who played at St. John’s, already spent time with the Charge last season. Agee, a forward out of Texas A&M, was with the Cavs for Summer League. He averaged 8.7 rebounds in his final college season. 

Austin played for the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League last season after finishing his college career at Pittsburgh. Jones comes from the Grand Rapids Gold, where he averaged 22.3 points during the 2025-26 G League regular season and had a 40-point game in March. 

So yes, Cleveland has more bodies for camp. The interesting part comes next: who gets a longer look with the Cavaliers, and who winds up playing for the Charge?
