DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine have formed one of the most exciting duos in the NBA today. With DeRozan signing the Bulls, he joined LaVine, Lonzo Ball, and Nikola Vucevic in forming perhaps the NBA's only big four. And the quartet has led the Bulls to their best start in years.

Currently, the Chicago Bulls are first in the Eastern Conference with a record of 12-5. Despite initial concerns about their fit, all four players have been playing at an extremely high level. They seem motivated to help the Chicago Bulls break their playoff duck this season.

DeRozan especially has looked fantastic. One could even argue that he is playing the best basketball of his career. Many had written off DeRozan during his stint with the San Antonio Spurs, as he was on a floundering team and had not made an All-Star appearance since joining them.

But the Bulls seem to have given DeRozan a new lease on life. DeRozan recently broke Michael Jordan's record for the Chicago Bulls, with the most points scored in the first 16 games as a Bull. DeRozan has shown that he can still contribute at a high level on an NBA team.

And DeMar was actually full of praise for his Bulls teammate Zach LaVine. In a recent interview, DeRozan admitted that he had never played with a player like Zach, who was so gifted at doing things that most players can't. He also said that he's having a lot of fun playing with him.

“I never played with a player like Zach before. The things he’s capable of doing offensively is intimidating at times, how easy he can do the things he can do. It’s fun.” D

DeRozan and LaVine have been spectacular for the Bulls. In fact, DeRozan is leading the NBA in points scored in the fourth quarter, and LaVine is right behind him in second place. This tandem has made the Bulls one of the most exciting teams in the Eastern Conference.

The success of the Bulls this season will depend greatly on the way these two continue to play. Many expect both LaVine and DeRozan to be named as All-Stars this season. And their numbers actually justify those nominations. With these two on top, the Bulls are flying high.
