Dwyane Wade's Massive New Tattoo Draws Attention

Dwyane Wade was one of the more decorated players in NBA history. During his 16-year career, he won three world championships, one Finals MVP and one scoring title, and he was named to the All-Star team 13 times, the All-NBA team eight times and the All-Defensive team three times.

He was named the MVP of the 2010 All-Star game, and he also played a role in Team USA men's basketball winning the gold medal during the 2008 Summer Olympics.

The consensus seems to be that he was the third-greatest shooting guard in basketball history behind only Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.

Wade recently caught some attention by getting a huge tattoo that includes artwork of some of his accolades and jerseys on his chest.

Wade was part of that famed 2003 draft class that included Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and LeBron James. After leading the Miami Heat to their first NBA title in 2006, he teamed up with Bosh and James in Miami and took the team to four straight finals appearances from 2011 to 2014 and back-to-back world titles in 2012 and 2013.

He shared plenty of the characteristics that made Bryant and Jordan titans. He was an explosive high-flyer who was lightning-quick on the baseline, and he was also a capable passer and facilitator.

The Marquette product also shone brightly in pressure situations, such as during the 2006 NBA Finals, when he delivered down the stretch and averaged 34.7 points a game.

Today, Wade is a minority owner of both the Utah Jazz and the WNBA's Chicago Sky.
