NBA star Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers showed his followers on social media what he’s able to do on the basketball court during his Achilles rehab.
Haliburton is already taking shots from the free-throw line.

Haliburton tore his right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He will miss the entire 2025-26 season.
One of the top players in the NBA, Haliburton had a fantastic 2024-25 campaign for the Pacers. He averaged 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 9.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.7 blocks and made the All-NBA Third Team.
Indiana beat the Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks to advance to the 2025 NBA Finals.
Without Haliburton, the Pacers will unfortunately not be a title contender next season. Indiana also lost Myles Turner to the Bucks in free agency.
The 25-year-old Haliburton will make $45.6 million next season while he rehabs his injury. The talented point guard signed a five-year, $244 million extension with the Pacers in July 2023.
Indiana acquired Haliburton from the Sacramento Kings in the Domantas Sabonis trade in February 2022. Haliburton is averaging 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 10.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.6 blocks in a Pacers uniform.
A two-time All-Star, Haliburton has played in 333 games with the Kings and Pacers. He has career averages of 17.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.6 blocks.
Basketball fans around the world surely can’t wait for Haliburton to make his return to the court in 2026-27. He’s a fun player to watch with the ball in his hands.
“Basically, from the injury, I think 15 months until I play my next game,” Tyrese Haliburton said on the Impaulsive podcast. “A lot of like journaling. Just like kind of writing stuff down, getting thoughts out. All those things have definitely been good.”
