Michael Jordan Believes His Brother Would Have Been Better Than Him If He Was Taller: "If He Was 6'2, I Would Have Been Known As Larry's Brother."

Despite not playing for almost 20 years now, Michael Jordan is still the standard-bearer for the NBA. Every elite player in this league is compared to Michael Jordan, with fans debating whether anyone could ever surpass MJ in terms of quality.

Kobe is considered the closest thing to Michael Jordan, as the two players were remarkably similar. Both were the same size, played the same position, had the same style of play, mentality, and had their most successful stint under legendary head coach Phil Jackson.

As for LeBron, he doesn't have a similar style of play to Jordan. But his dominance and impact on the game are truly unremarkable and are the closest thing to that of Michael Jordan. Fans of both players often debate amongst themselves over which player will go down as the greatest to ever play the game.

Jordan's career will go down as one of the greatest, with his 1995-96 season being considered the perfect season in the NBA. But he wasn't the only Jordan who was aiming to make it big in basketball.

MJ joined the University of North Carolina as an 18-year old. But he wasn't the only Jordan to play for them. His brother, Larry Jordan was also a player for UNC, but for Wilmington, rather than Chapel Hill where MJ played. But because of his diminutive stature (in basketball), Larry never made it to the professional game. 

But Jordan thinks his height was the only thing standing in his way. At 5'8, Larry was not considered tall enough to find success in the league. And MJ thinks that if Larry was taller, specifically 6'2 or above, he would have dominated the league to the point where Michael would be remembered as Larry's brother.
