The Dallas Mavericks decided to shock the NBA and made a blockbuster move by moving off All-NBA guard Luka Doncic in a three-team deal to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and first-round pick. Christie has been fantastic for Dallas so far, while Davis has joined a list of other Mavericks on the injury report.
Davis is alongside Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively II, and Dwight Powell on the injury report for the Mavericks. While forward P.J. Washington is set to return for the Mavericks Friday night, Dallas' recent acquisition is in line to make his debut against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday as well.

Former Indiana Pacers center Moses Brown is set to be available for Jason Kidd and the Mavericks against the Pelicans. Brown appeared in nine games for Indiana this season, with prior stops in Portland, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Cleveland, and Oklahoma City. Brown appeared in 26 games for the Mavericks in the 2021-22 season, making one start.
Brown agreed to a 10-day contract with the Mavericks on Thursday, looking to add depth to a weak frontcourt without their top three bigs. With 44 starts in his career, Brown last had a consistent role when he was with the Thunder in the 2020-21 season.
