According to ESPN Insights, Jokic and Murray now have eight playoff games where both players recorded at least 25 points, five rebounds and five assists.

That tally matches Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, whose partnership defined an era with the Chicago Bulls.

Jordan and Pippen combined to win six NBA championships, setting a benchmark that remains unmatched by most duos.

While Jokic and Murray have one title to their name, this latest milestone highlights their growing legacy as a partnership. It also adds fuel to the Nuggets’ title hopes.

Nikola Jokic steps up again to seal Nuggets win

Jokic once again proved decisive when the game tightened late on.

With the score at 97 to 95, he scored consecutive times to extend the lead to 102 to 95, shifting momentum back in Denver’s favour.

From that point, the Nuggets maintained control, keeping the gap at a minimum of five points.

An MVP contender, despite his lower chances when compared to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama, Jokic delivered when it mattered most, reinforcing his influence on the biggest stage.
