San Antonio Spurs star guard DeMar DeRozan was among those most impacted by the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles late last month.

Bryant’s death at the age of 41 coupled with the passing of his daughter and seven others has been a dark cloud hanging over the sports world.

The All-Star and his Spurs are set to take on the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center Monday night. It’s the house that Kobe built. And the veteran is paying his respects in a big way.

Not just the Kobe No. 8 jersey. The Lakers yellow. That’s some awesome stuff from DeRozan there.

DeRozan himself knows all too well the impact of Bryant’s death. A product of Compton in Southern California and a USC grad, he grew up rooting for Kobe.

He’s now paying his respects in his return to Los Angeles. Job well done here.
