Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry continues to make headlines even amid the NBA offseason.

Much of the talk about Curry recently has been about his contract with the Warriors. After all, he became eligible to sign a two-year, $136.7 million contract extension with the Dubs on Saturday, per Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports.

Curry is entering the final year of his contract, which will pay him $62.6 million. That said, it will certainly be interesting to see what the Warriors will do, especially as training camp approaches.

The 38-year-old superstar, however, doesn’t seem bothered by his contract situation. In fact, he’s keeping himself busy with his off-court commitments and making an impact on the community.

On Tuesday, Curry shared his latest move away from basketball and the NBA on his Instagram story. He apparently went to the University of San Francisco’s main campus, called the Hilltop, to talk about leadership, social justice, civil rights and more.

“Four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry returned to the Hilltop yesterday for the largest in-person Silk Speaker Series event to date,” the University of San Francisco wrote in a post on Instagram, which included photos of the Warriors star from the event.

“Joined by filmmaker Ben Proudfoot and Unanimous Media CEO Erick Peyton, Curry reflected on storytelling, leadership, and the enduring legacy of Clarence B. Jones, co-founder of @usfnonviolence.”

It remains to be seen what’s next for Curry on and off the court. However, the wait to see him back with the Warriors shouldn’t be too long since NBA training camp starts on Sept. 29.

In the meantime, fans can probably expect Curry to make more public appearances in the upcoming weeks before he shifts his focus to the 2026-27 season.
