The Golden State Warriors might be the team that can’t discuss their targets for next season.
Their roster remains unfixed with ongoing conversations about potential signings but no real confirmations.
Reports suggest Al Horford has committed, while the Warriors want to bring back De’Anthony Melton, sign former rookie of the year Malcolm Brogdon, and add Gary Payton II after Stephen Curry’s endorsement.
However, none of these moves are confirmed until they resolve Jonathan Kuminga’s situation.
Despite roster uncertainty, Draymond Green maintains optimism about next season.
He’s currently conducting workout sessions and recently sent a message about the Warriors’ championship target for next year.
“Great. We about six weeks out. Right where I need to be, baby. And we getting that b__h next year,” Green declared, pointing toward another title.
Green might always be optimistic about the Warriors winning another ring, but his argument carries weight.
Last season, the Warriors compiled a strong 23-7 record in the regular season after making the move for Jimmy Butler.
They successfully reached the playoffs and beat the Rockets in the first round. Their elimination came against Minnesota, but that was primarily because Stephen Curry was sidelined due to injury.

If the Warriors successfully sign all their targets, especially a big man who can stretch the floor and reduce Green’s responsibility in small lineups, they could become dangerous contenders again.
Green isn’t alone in sparking optimism about next season. Curry also believes the Warriors have a solid foundation to compete for another title next year, despite their uncompleted roster.
The combination of veteran leadership and potential strategic additions could restore Golden State’s status as legitimate championship contenders in the competitive Western Conference.
