During his remarkable 11-year career, Rob Gronkowski achieved legendary status as a tight end with the New England Patriots.  Additionally, Gronkowski's vibrant and animated personality extended beyond the football field, as he was known to embrace a "party" lifestyle.

Gronkowski's penchant for partying was widely recognized, and his exuberant lifestyle was not lost on his former teammates. Jake Bequette, a former defensive end who played alongside Gronkowski in New England, recently shared a story about the tight end's festive escapades during an appearance on "Prime Time with Alex Stein."

Bequette said it was not uncommon for Gronkowski to enjoy a night out and, in instances where he had consumed alcohol, he would find his way into the team facilities to sleep in the trainer's room. This approach ensured he could arrive on time for team activities the following day.

"We all had these key fobs that gave us 24/7 access to the Patriots facility there in Foxborough," Bequette said. "During the offseason, Gronk would go out all night with his boys in Boston. You know, stay up till three or four in the morning, whatever it was, and then have his crew drop him off at the Patriots facility."

During such occasions, Gronkowski would settle down to sleep on a training table.

"He would stagger into the Patriots locker room, key fob in and go pass out on the training tables," Bequette said. "An hour or two later when the trainers came in to start their workday, they'd come in there and see Gronk all sprawled out on the training table just fast asleep."

According to Bequette's account, the trainers refrained from waking Gronkowski up during these instances. Instead, they would administer an IV to replenish his fluids while he slept, likening his eventual awakening to that of Frankenstein.

Remarkably, even after such episodes, Gronkowski would still demonstrate his exceptional talents and be the best player on the field.
