Green Bay Packers fans will never forget quarterback Brett Favre.

He may have also suited up for the Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, and the Minnesota Vikings but he spent most of his career in Green Bay.

It was there where he started his Iron Man streak of 297 consecutive games.

Likewise, he brought a championship to the city when they defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI

But the joy of playing football and his on-field improvisation could be some of the attributes that the Packers faithful will never forget about Favre.

His gung-ho style always put viewers at the edge of their seats.

Yes, he was prone to errors and interceptions.

But on the other end of the spectrum, he could also dazzle with his ability to complete passes in unconventional ways.

That’s why The Leap’s Peter Bukowski made sure to remind football fans that he originated the style that a fellow league MVP is currently doing.

Bukowski tweeted, “When people say ‘we’ve never seen anyone like Pat Mahomes’ just show them these.”

Mahomes must have watched a lot of Favre tapes when he was growing up.

He must be his inspiration in making underhand passes or shovel throws.

Like Favre, he also has the arm strength to cover the length of the field.

Packers Fans Have The Luxury Of Watching Two Hall-Of-Fame Quarterbacks

Favre and Aaron Rodgers have contrasting styles in playing football.

But despite their differences, both will have their rightful spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Favre is already there and Rodgers will be a shoo-in for Canton after he retires.

After all, he also has a Super Bowl ring and four MVP awards.

Rodgers may be more laid-back than Favre’s free-flowing approach, but he is as effective nonetheless.
