New York has been the hardest-hit state as the coronavirus pandemic takes hold around the United States. The number of those infected with the virus is almost too surreal to believe. Total cases reportedly topped 30,000 on Wednesday, according to the New York Times.

The Buffalo Bills are taking action to help those impacted by the pandemic in Western New York. Owners Terry and Kim Pegula have announced a donation of at least $1.2 million.

The Bills are just the latest example of an NFL team stepping up to help their local communities through these most difficult of times. A total of $1.2 million will go a long way in helping Western New York as citizens and local businesses attempt to fend off the outbreak.
