Josh Allen has been dealing with multiple injuries heading into the Buffalo Bills’ divisional round matchup against the Denver Broncos on Saturday. Allen played through a foot injury in their wild card win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Reports emerged after the game that Allen sustained two additional injuries in the win. The reigning NFL MVP injured his finger and also twisted his knee against the Jaguars.
Despite being banged up, Allen still led the Bills to victory. He finished with 28-of-35 completed passes for 273 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Allen also added 33 yards on the ground and two rushing TDs on 11 carries.
Allen got a day off from practice on Tuesday. The Bills held a walkthrough in their first practice session leading up to Saturday’s game against the Broncos, and Allen was listed as a non-participant.
The good news, however, is that Allen was able to return to practice on Wednesday. The Bills announced via the official injury report that Allen was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

The Bills have previously indicated that the plan is for Allen to play on Saturday. The fact that he was able to return to full practice on Wednesday is a significant step in that direction.
Buffalo will hold one final practice on Thursday, and Allen’s status for that one will still be worth monitoring. However, at this point, Allen is expected to suit up in the divisional round against Denver, barring any unforeseen setbacks.
The Broncos will host Saturday’s matchup, with kickoff from Empower Field at Mile High scheduled for 4:30 p.m on CBS.
