Bills star Josh Allen gets a special recognition before the regular season and it surprisingly has nothing to do with football

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is otherworldly on the football field and an even better human off of it. Rewind to his MVP win, in which Allen was shown a video of children at Oishei Children's Hospital , where he said their names before they could even speak. He also took the time after practice to walk the entire length of the field to sign autographs with a big ol' smile on his face. Buffalo loves Josh Allen, and Josh Allen loves Buffalo.

With that, perhaps the greatest grocery store to ever exist on this beautiful green planet is Wegmans, which unveiled a new cereal that features none other than superstar quarterback Joshua Patrick Allen. The limited-edition cereal is called Josh Allen MVP Puffs, and we absolutely love it.

Josh's Jaqs replaced by MVP Puffs

If you're thinking, "wait, wasn't he already on a cereal box in Buffalo?" then you'd be right. Allen was previously on a cereal called "Josh's Jaqs" that are being sold on eBay for as much as $40 a pop, as the Buffalo News reported. The Zubaz print on the fourth iteration was best, but after winning MVP, including that detail in the cereal name has us saying move over Jaqs, it's MVP time.

Allen replaces Allen on the cover of yet another Bills-inspired cereal. Unfortunately, this is available exclusively at Wegmans stores in Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester, the Southern Tier, and Erie, Pa., while supplies last. A nice little addition is that one dollar from each box is going to the Patricia Allen Fund, which benefits Oishei Children's Hospital.

Allen isn't the only current member of the team with a cereal named after him. In fact, in 2024, Wegmans came out with an exclusive Dion Dawkins cereal called Buffalo Shnow Crunch. Using his Shnowman nickname was an incredible touch, although we weren't able to get our hands on a box.

Flutie Flakes or MVP Puffs

For those elder members of the Bills Mafia, perhaps an even bigger cereal launch was that of the famous Flutie Flakes, which are now a prized possession. If anyone wants to ship a box over to Denver, I would greatly appreciate that. Nevertheless, Allen wasn't the first and won't be the last to don the cover of a Buffalo cereal in the greatest grocery store to exist. It's a bit hyperbolic, but seriously, Wegmans is that great.

It's a bonus that the cereal gives back to the community, but with Josh Allen on the cover, we aren't even the slightest bit surprised. Over $1 million has been donated since 2020 to Oishei Children's Hospital, and that number will continue to grow. Enjoy the cereal with arguably the best quarterback in the NFL on its cover while also giving back to the community — a win-win if you ask me.
