Chiefs React to Travis Kelce’s Viral Moment With Famous Celebrity at Charity Event

The Kansas City Chiefs kicked off OTAs this past week, with both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in attendance.

But over the weekend, the star duo shifted their focus off the field and gave back to the community by taking part in the annual "Big Slick Celebrity Weekend"—a star-studded charity event in Kansas City benefiting Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Among the many standout moments, one in particular had fans talking: Travis Kelce took the stage alongside his brother Jason Kelce, Mahomes, and a lineup of comedians for some hilarious moments.

One highlight came when Kelce shared a laugh-out-loud interaction with one of the event’s hosts—iconic actor, comedian, and proud Chiefs fan Paul Rudd, who co-hosted the weekend alongside Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, and others.

“When your tight end is stronger than Ant-Man,” the Chiefs joked in a social media post, referencing Paul Rudd’s role as the beloved Marvel superhero in the Ant-Man and Avenger films.

Fans reacted to Kelce and Rudd's reaction:

"The admin cooked here," a fan said.

Someone else added, "Thanos faced this very same dilemma and failed."

Another fan posted, "guys this is so cute."

One more fan commented, "I love that Paul just accepts Travis picking him up at this point."

Rudd has long been a dedicated Chiefs fan—well before the Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce era—supporting the team during years when Super Bowl hopes were far less certain.

This past season, he even appeared on The "ManningCast" on ESPN alongside Peyton and Eli Manning during one of Kansas City’s "Monday Night Football" matchups. Rudd has been a regular at Chiefs games over the years, often attending with his son, Jack, who shares his love for the team.

Looking ahead, the Chiefs will kick off the 2025–26 NFL season on Friday, September 5, in São Paulo, Brazil, facing off against their AFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers, in a historic international opener.
