Once again, the Washington Commanders are on injury watch with Jayden Daniels.
The former No. 2 pick suffered a gruesome elbow injury in the Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and while there's still no timetable for his return, it's not encouraging.
According to Commanders insider John Keim, he will sit on Sunday vs. the Seattle Seahawks.
However, the team might still not know the true extent of his ailment.
"Dan Quinn said there's no update on Jayden Daniels because he's seeing another specialist today. Clearly he won't play Sunday. Nick Cross also has been ruled out Sunday because of an internal injury," Keim shared on his X account.

LB Frankie Luvu, TE Chig Okonkwo and DL Javon Kinlaw will be wait-and-see.…
While some may want to hold out hope, given that he still hasn't been ruled out for the season, his history of injuries and the Commanders' usually protective approach with him point to a long time on the shelf.
If that wasn't bad enough, the 0-2 Commanders will also likely be without starting RG Sam Cosmi, who's in the concussion protocol, while LB Frankie Luvu, TE Chig Okonkwo and DL Javon Kinlaw are all questionable ahead of their matchup with the defending Super Bowl champions.
Injuries have gotten in Daniels' way multiple times since his Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign.
There are serious doubts about his durability and ability to withstand the physicality of the pros.
And even though the talent is evident and the Commanders are clearly committed to him, there has to be a point where they at least consider their options with their injury-prone signal-caller.
