Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has averaged 1,542 rushing yards over the last three seasons. The worst season he’s had in which he started at least 12 games was 1,059 yards in 2018 with the Tennessee Titans.
Given those numbers, it’s easy to expect Henry to rush for 1,100 yards in 2025. If he does, he will pass six Hall of Famers, including Jim Brown, and reach 11th on the all-time NFL rushing list. If he rushes for 1,317 yards — a number he’s eclipsed four times in the last six seasons — he’ll pass Tony Dorsett to crack the all-time top 10.
Henry is 31, an age when most running backs tend to lose a step. But Henry isn’t like most running backs, as he evidenced last season when he averaged 5.9 yards per carry. Henry famously maintains a year-round workout routine that has his 247-pound body in peak shape. Few backs of his size have registered an 87-yard touchdown run, as he did in Week 4 last season against the Buffalo Bills.
A look at the top five active rushing leaders shows that nobody is all that close to Henry. Second on the list is Zeke Elliott, who is not currently on a team.

Henry’s spot on the all-time rushing touchdowns list is even more impressive. He’s tied with Jim Brown for sixth. After scoring 16 rushing TDs last season, Henry is 17 behind Marcus Allen for third all-time:

Aaron Rodgers begins his first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers ranked seventh all-time with 62,952 passing yards. Ironically, he needs just 1,096 yards to pass another Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, for fifth on the list. With 2,008 yards this season, Rodgers would join Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Brett Favre as the only players in NFL history with 65,000 passing yards.
Rodgers already shares a spot with those four as the only players with 500 or more TD passes, and he needs six more to pass Favre for fourth on that list. It might be a stretch to think Rodgers can throw 37 TD passes this season, but that’s what he needs to pass Manning for third.

Matthew Stafford last season cracked the top 10 in both career passing yards and touchdowns, second to Rodgers among active QBs in both categories. A 3,000-yard season — easy to achieve if healthy, though his back has been in question — would see Stafford leapfrog Dan Marino and Matt Ryan for eighth on the yardage list. With 23 more TD passes, he’d become just the ninth player in NFL history with 400 TD passes.
With rookie Jaxson Dart getting lots of attention, it’s not a lock that Russell Wilson will be the New York Giants’ starter all season. If he does, Wilson will threaten the top 10 lists in passing yards and touchdowns.
Wilson is currently 12th on the list with 350 TD passes. He needs 17 to pass Eli Manning for 11th; assuming Stafford gets at least five TD passes to jump Ryan for ninth, then Wilson would need 32 to move into 10th. Wilson ranks 17th all-time with 46,135 passing yards. He needs 3,191 yards to pass Warren Moon for 13th on the list. With 3,865 yards, Wilson would become the 13th player ever to pass for 50,000 yards.
Several wide receivers, along with one of the NFL’s all-time great tight ends, are within reach of some pass-catching milestones. Entering the 2025 season, here are the active leaders in the key categories:

Say all you want about the 35-year-old tight end being on the decline. Other than his rookie season which he missed with a knee injury, Kelce has never had fewer than 67 receptions in a season — and he hasn’t had fewer than 92 catches in the last seven years. Kelce is currently 14th on the all-time receptions list. If he catches 67 passes this season, he’ll pass Reggie Wayne for 10th. Only Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten have more receiving yards than Kelce among tight ends. With 12,151 career yards, Kelce needs 939 yards to pass Witten for second on that list.
Kelce is among 15 players in NFL history with at least 1,000 career receptions. Hopkins (16 receptions shy), Allen (26) and Adams (43) are all close to joining that group.
Hopkins is currently 21st on the receiving yards list. In his first season playing for the Baltimore Ravens, Hopkins needs 1,381 yards to pass Reggie Wayne and crack the all-time top 10.
Evans and Adams already rank ninth and 10th, respectively, on the all-time receiving touchdowns list. Both players are within reach of Larry Fitzgerald, who ranks sixth on the all-time list with 121.
There are no active players among the top 15 on the all-time sack list; there are seven active players ranked between 16 and 38. Tops on that list is 36-year-old Von Miller, who ranks 16th with 129.5. Miller, who had six sacks last season, would pass Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor with just 3.5 more. With eight sacks, Miller would tie Richard Dent and John Randle for 10th all-time.
