How did Freddie Kitchens’ personal Browns gear end up on eBay?
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Freddie Kitchens’ tenure as head coach of the Cleveland Browns ended after only one season, albeit a profoundly disappointing one marred by dysfunction and unrealized goals. From the looks of it, Kitchens recently spent some of his newfound free time doing a little decluttering.

Listings recently sprung up on eBay in which numerous items of Browns gear purported to have belonged to Kitchens are available for purchase. Among the clothing items listed are Browns hoodies, shirts, polos, etc. — all in 3XL sizes — items that apparently were presumably once stored in Kitchens’ closet.

The authenticity of the items is in question, but the seller who posted the listings does boast a solid record with eBay along with 19 years of selling experience on the site, as noted by Busted Coverage.

The prices for the articles of pre-owned clothing range from $17.50 (Freddie Kitchens Owned Cleveland Browns NFL Nike Mesh back Tee 3XL A18) to $75 (Rare Freddie Kitchens Worn Cleveland Browns NFL Hoodie Crucial Catch 3XL A12).

It will be interesting to see if the listed items are somehow verified as actually once belonging to Kitchens. What’s more, how did this eBay seller manage to get his/her hands on all of it in the first place?
