Watt and Ohai once again come through for those in need. Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

As many Americans are hunkering down during the COVID-19 pandemic, Houston Texans star J.J. Watt and his wife Kealia Ohai are giving back.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared that the newlyweds are donating $350,000 to the Houston Food Bank, which will provide more than 1 million meals for those who are need.

That Watt would give back to his community should surprise nobody. He was instrumental in raising needed funds after Hurricane Harvey rampaged through the Houston area back in 2017, and is constantly looking for ways to support those in need.

That being said, it’s truly inspiring that we’re seeing Watt and other athletes doing so much to help people who are struggling in this time of tumult and uncertainty.
